Beyond Organic
By enforcing "Do-Nothing Farming" (natural farming) in our plantation in northern Thailand, we eradicate the use of all chemicals, including fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. In our unirrigated plantation located at 800 meters above sea level, we planted various trees, flowers and vegetation to reduce pests and foster a healthy ecosystem in previously worn-out farmlands.
We only harvest 2 to 3 times a year (compared to 5 to 6 times a year for commercial tea farms, which use chemical fertilizers). Each harvest is precious and thus more nutrition is available for users.
Natural Taste & Premium Quality
The Third Day’s tea has a unique "natural flavour" which is seldom found with commercial tea. Without artificial fertilizer, the tea trees have developed deeper roots to absorb more natural nutrients. The natural smoothness, the long-lasting aftertaste and the sense of balance in the body and mind are now yours to enjoy!
The Third Day’s tea are tested by SGSHK's laboratory to be pesticides free. Our tea appraiser regularly evaluates the quality of the tea to ensure only the best is delivered in every cup of tea.
Ethical and Fair Trading
By maintaining long-term relationships with small farmers of ethnic minorities in northern Thailand, we have demonstrated the benefits of natural farming and to celebrate with them the harvest of their land. We are a Social Enterprises under "Tithe Ethical Consumption Movement" in Hong Kong.
Your support will help more farmers restore the ecological balance of their land and help develop a cooperative platform for small farmers using natural farming to share their produce with the world.
